About the compound

GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the naturally occurring tripeptide Gly-His-Lys. It was first described in the 1970s as a plasma factor that altered the behaviour of cultured liver cells, and it has since become one of the most frequently studied peptides in dermal biology.

Published work has examined GHK-Cu in fibroblast cultures, excisional wound models and gene-expression profiling, where it is typically investigated for its effects on extracellular-matrix proteins and copper-dependent enzyme activity. Each vial is supplied as a lyophilized powder for reconstitution in the laboratory.
