About the compound

SNAP-8 (acetyl octapeptide-3) is derived from the N-terminal sequence of SNAP-25, one of the proteins that forms the SNARE complex required for vesicle fusion. In vitro work has used it to probe competitive interference with SNARE assembly.

It is a common comparator to argireline in cosmetic-science research and is supplied here as a lyophilized powder.
